Baxter is a 1993 Graduate of the University of
Georgia's Terry College of Business with a BBA in
Management Information Systems. That same year, he
began his career with State Farm Insurance as a Claim
Representative on the National Catastrophe Team. In
1999, he became a second-generation State Farm Agent.
He is an Ambassador Travel qualifier as well as Bronze
Tablet, Silver Scroll, and Golden Triangle Honor Club
qualifier. He is Past Chair of the Newton County
Citizens SPLOST Committee, Past President of the
Newton County Theme School PTO and currently serves on
the Covington Family YMCA's Board of Management. He was
recently named the YMCA's Volunteer of the Year.
